This month, we are focusing on a few simple, but important things – making it easier to share feedback, creating more welcoming spaces for visits, and recognizing the people who give their time to support our Elders.
You will see some updates below, including the launch of our Your Voice Matters initiative, the opening of our coffee bar, and a thank you to our volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
As always, thank you for being part of our community.
Your Voice Matters
We are happy to share that our Your Voice Matters initiative is now live.
Feedback forms are available at the front desk, and you can also submit feedback online through our website at www.kinsmenlodge.ca. Look for the Give Feedback button at the top right-hand corner of our home page to fill out the questionnaire.
This is an opportunity for our families to share compliments, concerns, or suggestions. We truly value your input and look forward to hearing from you.
Main Floor Coffee Bar
Coming soon! We are planning to have a coffee bar set up on the main floor beside the shop by the end of the month. This will be a perfect opportunity for our residents and their friends and families to grab a coffee and spend some time visiting with loved ones. Just another small way to make these moments together even more special.
Volunteer Appreciation Week
April 19–25, 2026 marks National Volunteer Week across the province and we will be celebrating our volunteers here at KL on April 25. From the bottom of my heart, Kinsmen Lodge would not be the home it is without our incredible volunteers. Your time, compassion, and dedication make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Elders every single day.
You are appreciated more than words can express – Thank you for all that you do.
